Humble Beginnings

FSIoffice began as a prayer in 1951. After accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, founder Jimmy Godwin asked God for two specific things: a Christian wife and a good job. In October, 1960 he married Diane Griffin, who shared his faith and ambitions then and continues to do so after over 61 years of marriage. After working in the office supply industry for five years, Jimmy ventured out on his own in 1962 and founded Forms & Supply, Inc. During the past 59 years, FSIoffice has served the Southeast and grown from a mom and pop operation to one of the largest independent office supply dealers in the United States with more than 250 employees.

Since the very start, FSIoffice has worked with our local neighbors in Charlotte, NC area, and the greater Southeast region. With service as our priority, FSIoffice went from a local mom and pop operation to a thriving company with over 250 employees and global reach.

After working in the office supply industry for five years, Jimmy ventured out on his own in 1962 and founded Forms & Supply, Inc. Since then FSIoffice has served the Southeast and grown from a mom and pop operation to one of the largest independent office supply dealers in the United States with more than 250 employees.

Forms & Supply, Inc expands into South Carolina by opening a branch in Columbia, SC.

Kim Leazer, 2nd generation joins Forms & Supply, Inc. as an Account Manager.

New HQ in Charlotte

Forms & Supply, Inc. HQ moves to University Commercial Place, expanding its warehouse significantly.

Donna Jordon, 2nd Generation family member joins Forms & Supply as Advertising Manager.

Greensboro, NC branch location opens to cover the Piedmont Triad region.

Virginia Expansion

The Chesapeake, Virginia  branch opens to cover the Virginia Beach/Tidewater region of Southern Virginia.

New Larger Charlotte HQ
FSIoffice building

FSIoffice HQ opens it's new (and current) 100,000 sq ft. warehouse and office facility on Orr Road in Charlotte, NC.

Wilmington Branch Opens

Forms & Supply, Inc opens it's Cape Fear area facility in Wilmington, NC.

Expansion In Research Triangle Area

Forms & Supply, Inc opens it's facility in Raleigh, NC.

Beth Freeman joins FSIoffice full-time making her the 3rd generation family member at the company.
