Jalapeno Popper Chicken

A savory, cooked chicken breasts smothered by a melty cheese that come speckled with bits of thick-cut bacon and diced jalapenos.

- 1.5-2 lbs chicken breasts or thighs
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 2-3 jalapenos seeded and diced
- ½ cup cooked bacon pieces
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Salt and Pepper
Preheat oven 350 and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
Cut a slit in the top of the chicken to create a pocket for your stuffing.
In a bowl mix softened cream cheese, ½ cup of cheese (or however much your heart desires), bacon pieces and diced jalapenos until well combined.
Season your chicken on both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and paper.
Lay chicken cut side up and fill your pocket with the mixture and top with a little cheese and bacon.
Bake at 30-40 mins until chicken is done.
